Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first rent and security deposit need to be paid at the lease signing. If you're unsure, confirm the amounts with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will set your move-in date and provide information of the first inspection at the lease signing.

Utilities

Remember, you are responsible for placing utility accounts in your name and keeping these accounts current throughout the duration of your stay. Please take care of this as quickly as possible after taking occupancy.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move when your lease ends? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises; refer to your lease terms for specific information about your departure.

Property Condition

Your home needs to be brought back to rent-ready condition before you vacate the premises. Please take care of the following:

Rental Cleaning: Carefully clean every home in your rental property, taking special care in the kitchen and bathrooms. Remove all of your possessions and make sure garbage is disposed of properly. You'll need to sweep/mop/vacuum all rooms and wash down all hard surfaces.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you have outdoor spaces where you routinely address landscaping and general upkeep, please take care of these tasks once more immediately before your move.

Repairs: Take all necessary measures to address repairs like nail and screw holes and broken glass. If more serious repairs are necessary, contact us to find an amicable solution.

Security Deposit

The security deposit you provide at the outset of your lease serves as protection in the event of unaddressed repairs, unpaid rent, etc. Please note, the deposit cannot be used as your final month's rent payment.

We will make any necessary repairs after you move-out of the rental home; expenses for such repairs will be deducted from the deposit. The remainder will be returned to you promptly.
